In the present paper the application of the 488/92 law is estimated from the point of view of the statistical analysis on the bases of the official data supplied by the Ministry for the Productive activities (now Economic Development Ministry) and it is restricted to the bands reserved to the industrial field within the Sicily Region. Therefore some indices which are considered essential for the analysis of the data are examined, such as number of approved projects, total financing, piling up of the incentive and percentage of the incentive on total financing. The choice of the localization politics and the effectiveness of new actions within the credit facilities open the way to new phases of the process in support of enterprises.
