Solid-phase microextraction (SPME)-GC-MS was used to determine possible markers of the floral origin in differential unifloral honeys. Three samples of each of the following unifloral honeys were analyzed: orange, eucalyptus, chestnut, sulla, and wildflowers. Each sample was analyzed three times. Numerous volatile components were identified in each honey analyzed and spectral data, linear retention indices, and injection of standards were used to confirm the identification. Furthermore, the composition of flavored honey was compared with the data available in the literature.

Abstract
Solid-phase microextraction (SPME)-GC-MS was used to determine possible markers of the floral origin in differential unifloral honeys. Three samples of each of the following unifloral honeys were analyzed: orange, eucalyptus, chestnut, sulla, and wildflowers. Each sample was analyzed three times. Numerous volatile components were identified in each honey analyzed and spectral data, linear retention indices, and injection of standards were used to confirm the identification. Furthermore, the composition of flavored honey was compared with the data available in the literature.File in questo prodotto:
