The mechanical characteristics in the region of the primary relaxation have been measured in linear (bisphenol-A-polycarbonate and polyurethane) and reticulated (a fully crosslinked heterocyclic network) amorphous polymers. It is found a correlation between the fragility and the anharmonicity of the systems, the most fragile polymer being characterized by the largest anharmonicity.

Abstract
