The label of "idealism" seems to be inadequate in order to seize the peculiarity of Kant's and Hegel's theories of the nature of knowledge and thinking. In this article I suggest to analyze the development of Kantian concept of ideality in Hegel from two different points of view: 1. Hegel's clarification of the Kantian theory of knowledge (through a new theory of consciousness), 2. Hegel's understanding of thought as mediative activity able to idealize any content of experience.

Abstract
The label of "idealism" seems to be inadequate in order to seize the peculiarity of Kant's and Hegel's theories of the nature of knowledge and thinking. In this article I suggest to analyze the development of Kantian concept of ideality in Hegel from two different points of view: 1. Hegel's clarification of the Kantian theory of knowledge (through a new theory of consciousness), 2. Hegel's understanding of thought as mediative activity able to idealize any content of experience.File in questo prodotto:
