Wavelet analysis has a wide range of applications due to its ability to locally resolve a nonstationary signal in terms of functional forms, called mother wavelets, and to rmly locate trend anomalies in the signal. Some examples to Elastic Incoherent Neutron Scattering (EINS) data collected by the IN13 spectrometer at ILL (F) on water mixtures of trehalose, maltose and sucrose and on hydrated lysozyme and myoglobine vs exchanged wave vector and temperature are presented. The experimental ndings reveal dierent transition temperatures together with a stronger temperature dependence of maltose and sucrose in comparison with trehalose which signals a stronger character in comparison with the other homologous disaccharides.
