The restructuring of a company is sometimes a complex process that transforms the company, or part of it, into a clear growth perspective. Simplifying to the extreme, whoever chooses to restructure an own business is because there are two situations: the company is excellent or goes badly. One can guess the reason for the decision to restructure when a company goes badly, also because this implies, alas, processes of dismissals or incentives for an exodus. But in reality, the reasons are various. The present article has as its object the examination of the rules and the solutions in the restructuring of companies in crisis, defined based on the business situation. In particular, the study focuses on analysing the meaning of company restructuring within the economic literature and what are the steps for this process.
