The aim of this contribution is to give a statistical representation of some data discussed in a previous paper, choosing as statistical population a set constituted by 22 species of birds belonging to the examined Class of Aves Neognata. Some characters of the tongue of birds are considered as sample variables, each of them having a frequency distribution. In particular the features took in account are the presence of some types of glands.
