The paper aims to investigate the matter on the development of marinas in the cruise business, focusing on the growing interest that the same cruise operators turn now toward decisions that require strategic alliances and agreements with those who manage the cruise port. The cruise industry, in fact, is increasingly becoming an industry that attracts huge investments, in which the actors are different, every day, seem to have a growing interest in decisions involving new forms of productive organization and working arrangements for the implementation innovative strategic choices. The main actors in the port sector, today, it is the Port Authority, which may play a role in the development of cruise traffi c in ports and tourist fl ows to the destination where they are located, both in quantitative and qualitative and nationally and internationally.
