Abstract
Endoscopic surgery has grown slowly, but in parallel with the simultaneous developments of microsurgery and skull-base surgery. In this report, we describe the early innovations in skull-base endoscopic approaches as well as the pioneers who first popularized transsphenoidal surgical approaches. Endoscopy has been used by an increasing number of surgeons over the last 25 years and represents a major advance in the transsphenoidal and endonasal technique.File in questo prodotto:
