L’accessibilità come presupposto per la valorizzazione sostenibile dell’edilizia storica

The reuse / recovery of historical heritage can not be considered apart from the needs of varied users who want, in different ways and for different reasons, to know the architectural tissue without inherent limitations or related to the system connective. Considering that interventions aimed at making accessible to disabled persons spaces already constructed, especially of particular historical, present a series of problematic, methodological-economic and aesthetic, often emerged in projects, are expected to be able to detect an intervention strategy that promotes accessibility through the proper integration of materials and vertical connection elements. Work presented will be divided into a first part which is defined from the point of view of methodological and regulatory environment, what is the correct course of action to take to ensure the best use and enjoyment of the “architectural object”, and a second part, properly project, which will be applied to the potential deduced to a fabrica of particular historical value: the Postelegrafico building, owned by the University, designed by Vittorio Mariani.
