Abstract
The terrestrial Jerusalem has always tried to recreate in small-scale the superior order of an ideal celestial Jerusalem even if the gap between the aspirations and the achievements has always been substantial [1]. Many construction attempts of ideal cities, temples and architectures symbols of the cosmic harmony have been made in different shapes and sizes, focusing on the research of a balance between matter and spirit, reality and idea, earth and sky. It could be easy to reason about the countless failures of the city, in search of ideal and harmonic layouts, but the persistence of the human being in the development of new rules, proportions, consonances, with references to an idea of perfection that belongs to another world of ideas or ideal models, leads us to study our cities carefully. Drawing is a complex element of reflection, which uses tools of analysis and synthesis to dig up traces and ideal configurations and to propose new arrangements that bring out hidden harmonies and try to add new qualities.Pubblicazioni consigliate
