The interest in the use of noninvasive brain stimulation for enhancing neural functions in the pediatric population is growing. Yet, the research tentative in this direction is still relatively limited, if compared to the research conducted in the adult population. In this chapter, we provide an updated overview of noninvasive brain stimulation studies conducted in pediatric populations affected by neuropsychiatric disorders. We also provide a brief discussion of current limitations and the future directions of the research in this field. © 2019 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
