Chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) with nasal polyposis (NP) is a common chronic disease that often affects maxillary sinus. Endoscopic sinus surgery (ESS) is the most common procedure to treat the maxillary sinus lesions by a middle meatal antrostomy (MMA) and the introducing of new microdebrider blades of 15, 40, 70, and 120° improved this approach. Nevertheless in some case s, angled microdebrider are not sufficient and canine fossa puncture (CFP) is performed as an alternative method to obtain a complete access to the maxillary antrum.
