The so-called “Conservative Revolution” (Konservative Revolution) is an intellectual and political movement which spread throughout Germany in the “interregnum” of the Weimar Republic, during the years between the First World War and the birth of the Third Reich. As a crucial juncture between World War I and II, and as a key place in the passage from nationalisms to totalitarianisms, the Conservative Revolution takes root in an arduous and problematic elaboration of the war experience, trying to turn the senseless and ruinous Kriegserfahrung into an ideologically stylized Kriegserlebnis.

Abstract
The so-called “Conservative Revolution” (Konservative Revolution) is an intellectual and political movement which spread throughout Germany in the “interregnum” of the Weimar Republic, during the years between the First World War and the birth of the Third Reich. As a crucial juncture between World War I and II, and as a key place in the passage from nationalisms to totalitarianisms, the Conservative Revolution takes root in an arduous and problematic elaboration of the war experience, trying to turn the senseless and ruinous Kriegserfahrung into an ideologically stylized Kriegserlebnis.File in questo prodotto:
