The aim of the paper is to compare the role of Intellectual Capital as a silent force driving connections among different enabling factors for the creation and survival of innovative startups into a specific business ecosystem in both Italy and Poland. In particular, present analysis focuses on the connection between Intellectual Capital and two of these enabling factors (Taxation and incentives and Sources of financing) assuring effective innovation processes and sustainable development in a business ecosystem, favorable for the innovative startups.
