The chapter presents an innovative approach to the relationship between law and language. A new rhetoric of law today should thus retrieve the roots of its ancient origins in order to establish itself, again, as a technique, a practice, a discourse, a science of the contingent. Precisely in the age of the correspondence between information and communication, in fact, the study of the socio-political uses of language can become fundamental. And such study should be, as it was originally, apologetic: standing as the dimension of justification, in and out of joint, in and out of the norm.

Abstract
The chapter presents an innovative approach to the relationship between law and language. A new rhetoric of law today should thus retrieve the roots of its ancient origins in order to establish itself, again, as a technique, a practice, a discourse, a science of the contingent. Precisely in the age of the correspondence between information and communication, in fact, the study of the socio-political uses of language can become fundamental. And such study should be, as it was originally, apologetic: standing as the dimension of justification, in and out of joint, in and out of the norm.File in questo prodotto:
