Il Vall. E 11 e i suoi marginalia: sondaggi per la storia del codice in età bizantina

This paper deals with one of the most ancient witness of the so-called Lexicon Cyrilli, the ms. Vall. E 11: after a thorough survey of the different views held by scholars on its dating and origin, the author showcases the history of the manuscript in the Byzantine East by taking into account some marginalia, here edited for the first time, as well as the restoration treatment in the first leaves of the codex, which can be dated between the 13th and the 14th centuries. Il contributo è incentrato sul codice Vall. E 11, uno dei più antichi testimoni del c.d. Lexicon Cyrilli: dopo aver passato in rassegna le varie proposte avanzate in merito alla sua datazione e localizzazione, si delinea la storia del manoscritto nell’Oriente bizantino alla luce dei suoi marginalia, di cui si offrono alcuni inediti specimina, e di interventi di restauro nei fogli iniziali compiuti tra xiii e xiv secolo.
