The improvement in imaging quality with high resolution, and multiplanar reconstruction of frontal sinus complex anatomy is of great clinical interest in view of the extensive developments in powered instruments, better endoscopic devices, and surgical navigation with intraoperative CT. Similarly as with any surgery, a thorough anatomical knowledge is the key part of a successful surgical procedure. For this reason, frontal sinus surgery cannot be separated from a thorough knowledge of anatomy, without neglecting both surgical and radiological anatomy.

Abstract
The improvement in imaging quality with high resolution, and multiplanar reconstruction of frontal sinus complex anatomy is of great clinical interest in view of the extensive developments in powered instruments, better endoscopic devices, and surgical navigation with intraoperative CT. Similarly as with any surgery, a thorough anatomical knowledge is the key part of a successful surgical procedure. For this reason, frontal sinus surgery cannot be separated from a thorough knowledge of anatomy, without neglecting both surgical and radiological anatomy.File in questo prodotto:
