Un estratto dal Philetairos pseudoerodianeo nel Darms. 2773 (con appunti sulla tradizione manoscritta del lessico)

Identificazione ed edizone di un nuovo estratto dal Philetairos, un'operetta lessicografica di stampa atticista falsamente ascritta a Erodiano, nel codice Darms. 2773. In this paper I offer the identification of a new witness of the so-called Philetairos, a lexicographical compilation ascribed to the grammar Herodianus: this is the ms. Darms. 2773, a valuable and rich miscellany assembled during the middle of the 14th century. The Philetairos is an Atticistic glossary and its transmission is closely linked to that of other similar works whose lemmata overlap each other; these works often appear in the mss. without indication ofthe author or are transmitted together with the Philetairos. The transcription of the text referred to in the Darmst. 2773 is preceded by an overview of the printed editions of the glossary (last edited by Dain in 1954) and the related texts. In addition I give a comprehensive list of the extant mss. including also some new witnesses which must be taken into account by the future editor of these set of texts.
