Starting from the analysis of various types of texts such as letters, administrative documents, literary and legal texts, this contribution aims to analyse the public and private management of economic resources in the Old Babylonian period. It pays special attention to the agriculture lands and labours, in order to propose a reconstruction that can contribute to a better understanding of the administrative organization of agriculture during the kingdom of the First Dynasty of Babylon.
