Abstract
The human being’s aptitude to transcend himself has led Western modernity to decree the transience of every boundary, but the identity crisis afflicting the contemporary age now marks the urgency of reconfiguring the concept of limit within our horizon of meaning. In this context, the advent of bioethics, in order to respond to the challenges emerging from the new moral sensibility, meets the need to adopt the ability to “think the limit” as a moral criterion, to escape the tyranny of the idol of technological innovation.File in questo prodotto:
