This research has demonstrated the high prolificacy of the AGCM and the competent administrative courts in producing a sensible amount of administrative infringement decisions followed by judgments in relation to the competition law prohibitions in Italy. It also demonstrated how the competition law enforcement system in Italy is somehow dynamic and mature despite its quite recent tradition. Maturity is probably due to the fact that such system is fully and inevitably founded and forged by the EU legal order.
