Oltre un pensiero “insediato”. Simone Weil tra sradicamento e radicamento

ITA: Oltre un pensiero “insediato”. Radicamento, sradicamento e politica in Simone Weil Nel mio contributo proverò ad analizzare la questione del pensiero “radicale” a partire da due categorie fondamentali per il pensiero del Novecento, sviluppate in modo particolarmente originale da Simone Weil, cioè quelle di “radicamento” e di “sradicamento”. Oltre ad analizzare l’orizzonte teoretico delle due categorie, mi interessa metterne in luce la portata etico-politica: un pensiero “insediato” rischia sempre di perdere di vista l’erranza necessaria per condurre la politica ad essere sempre più giusta. D’altra parte, l’estremo sradicamento può condurre a un nomadismo senza meta e, quindi, senza progettualità. L’obiettivo è quello di sottolineare l’opposizione tra le due categorie, evidenziando, però, anche la potenzialità teoretica ed etico-politica di una tale opposizione, che può contribuire a prevenire l’eccesso presente in nuce tanto nell’una che nell’altra, tentando di proporne, invece, un complesso, per quanto difficile, equilibrio. Simone Weil between uprooting and rootedness In my contribution I will try to analyse the question of ‘radical’ thought starting from two categories that are fundamental to 20th century thought, developed in a particularly original way by Simone Weil, namely those of ‘rootedness’ and ‘uprooting’. In addition to analysing the theoretical horizon of the two categories, I am interested in highlighting their ethical-political significance: a ‘settled’ way of thinking always runs the risk of losing sight of the wandering necessary to lead politics to be ever more just. On the other hand, extreme uprooting can lead to nomadism without a destination and, therefore, without planning. The aim is to emphasise the opposition between the two categories, while also highlighting the theoretical and ethical-political potential of such an opposition, which can help to prevent the excess present in nuce in both the one and the other, attempting instead to propose a complex, albeit difficult, balance.
