This work analyzes the migrant reception system and compares it to the Italian university foreign student system. The methodology consists of anonymous surveys of reception workers and university administrators and professors. The results revealed similar needs- increased language training, cross-cultural education, reduced bureaucratic procedures and more trained employees.
