The paper aims to analyse the historical geography of the places that marked the age of Terror in Paris (1793-1794). It will examine rue Saint-Honoré (headquarters of the Jacobin club), two guillotine locations (Place de la Nation and Place de la Concorde), the Conciergerie ('antechamber of the guillotine') and the Cathedral Notre-Dame de Paris (Temple of Reason of the Cult of the Supreme Being). Finally, it will retrace the arrest of Robespierre, which took place at the Hôtel de Ville.
