This work reports quasi elastic neutron scattering (QENS) results on the trehalose/water/acrylamide-acrylic acid copolymer system, recently employed in agricultural chemistry. H/D substitution technique allows to separate the diffusive dynamics of trehalose from that of water. The analysis indicates that although from a structural point of view water behaves as bulk water, its dynamics is strongly affected by both the polymeric matrix and trehalose.
