Au-doped iron oxide thin films have been prepared by a liquid phase method (LPD) and tested as CO-gas sensors. The data reported have shown the capability of these doped films to detect CO. Addition of Zn increases further the sensitivity. The response to CO was found to be influenced by the operating temperature and the relative humidity (RH). The role played by these variables in influencing the CO-sensing mechanism has been discussed.

Abstract
Au-doped iron oxide thin films have been prepared by a liquid phase method (LPD) and tested as CO-gas sensors. The data reported have shown the capability of these doped films to detect CO. Addition of Zn increases further the sensitivity. The response to CO was found to be influenced by the operating temperature and the relative humidity (RH). The role played by these variables in influencing the CO-sensing mechanism has been discussed.File in questo prodotto:
