In a survey of 762 canine ovaries, 52 primary ovarian tumours were diagnosed including 31 epithelial tumours, 5 germ cell tumours and 16 sex-cord stromal tumour. In the las group, histology and immunohistochemical alpha inhibin expression allowed to identify 13 granulosa cell tumours, of which 6 early tumours were described.
