The purpose of this study was to determine whether the combination levobunolol-dorzolamide administered topically has any greater effects on the reduction of intraocular pressure (IOP) and pulse rate (PR) in healthy dogs than do timolol-dorzolamide. Then healthy dogs were used and tested with three treatment (artificial tears; 0.5%levobunolol- 0.2%dorzolamide; 0.5%timolol-0.2%dorzolamide): one treatment at time for a period of 5 days (1th day pre-treatment phase; 2-5th treatment phase).Any medications were administered in both eyes twice a day, the IOP and HR of each dogs were measured five times a day (7 a.m., 10 a.m., 13 a.m., 17 a.m. 9 a.m.).

Abstract
