Some results regarding Intermediate Mass Fragments (IMF) production in heavy ions collisions at intermediate energies, as observed with 4pi CHIMERA detector for the systems 124Sn+64Ni, 112Sn+58Ni and 124Sn+27Al, are reviewed with particular emphasis on time scale and time sequences of fragmentation processes. Isospin effects and isoscaling behavior are also discussed for different classes of events, which have been characterized according to the different time scale of fragments emission. Moreover, relative contribution of the dynamical and equilibrated fission-like decay of the projectile-like fragments was compared for systems with different N/ Z ratio.

Abstract
Some results regarding Intermediate Mass Fragments (IMF) production in heavy ions collisions at intermediate energies, as observed with 4pi CHIMERA detector for the systems 124Sn+64Ni, 112Sn+58Ni and 124Sn+27Al, are reviewed with particular emphasis on time scale and time sequences of fragmentation processes. Isospin effects and isoscaling behavior are also discussed for different classes of events, which have been characterized according to the different time scale of fragments emission. Moreover, relative contribution of the dynamical and equilibrated fission-like decay of the projectile-like fragments was compared for systems with different N/ Z ratio.Pubblicazioni consigliate
