A detailed study regarding the different parametrizations of Cerenkov light existing in literature has been performed by comparing the various approaches used in experiments dealing with neutrino detection. Among these, we want to mention the Belyaev analytical approach, that is the only one deduced starting from theoretical formulas and the Butkevich method, based on Monte Carlo techniques. A third approach, due to Weibusch, reproduces in some way the angular distribution obtained by the Belyaev distribution.

Abstract
A detailed study regarding the different parametrizations of Cerenkov light existing in literature has been performed by comparing the various approaches used in experiments dealing with neutrino detection. Among these, we want to mention the Belyaev analytical approach, that is the only one deduced starting from theoretical formulas and the Butkevich method, based on Monte Carlo techniques. A third approach, due to Weibusch, reproduces in some way the angular distribution obtained by the Belyaev distribution.File in questo prodotto:
