The following paper will analyse church domes constructed or rebuilt during the Norman epoch domination in Sicily (between the XIth and XIIth century) within its ancient territory called Valdemone. The interest for such organisms embraces not only their architectural shape complexities, but even the technological solutions employed, perceived within a study concerning the history fabric comprehension. Often the absent of history documents, in fact, hinder age construction and building phase transformations, creating difficulties in defining a precise design approach in the renovation of such architectural structures. The analyse will try to highlight, also, the relationships between the architectural edifices and the surrounding territory. Form configurations and geographical positioning originate correlated relationships delineating at the same time the close connections that these structures have established with their contiguous landscape and in particular with the river beds, which in the past represented the easiest trail routes reaching the hilly centres.

Abstract
Form configurations and geographical positioning originate correlated relationships delineating at the same time the close connections that these structures have established with their contiguous landscape and in particular with the river beds, which in the past represented the easiest trail routes reaching the hilly centres.Pubblicazioni consigliate
