The design of a value proposition requires a commitment from firms, which should constantly readapt their goods and services to customers’ expectation. The aim of this work is to analyze the interviewees’ attitudes towards sport and on their level of knowledge of CUS and its activities and services. The preliminary results, obtained in an exploratory survey conducted by University Sports Center of Messina (CUS) on a selection of 302 students, identified by proportional stratified sampling among those registered in each of the ten Faculties of the University, allow to highlight important issues to the improvement of the market positioning of the Center, the implementation of a better portfolio of goods and services and the definition of new tools, which could make the students active contributors in the clear definition of strategic choices.
