Abstract
It is known that acid depositions from heavy oil ash emissions combine with atmospheric humidity to cause serious damage to the surfaces of calcareous bodies. Thia paper describes the effects of these deposits on different types of stone, such as sandstone and granite. The data were obtained by contacting heavy oil ash with samples of these materials for 1-30 days at controlled humidity values and by spectroscopic and microscopic examination of the surface changes observed.File in questo prodotto:
