Photon Correlation Spectroscopy (PCS) dates back to early 1900, when it was felt that the temporal uctuations of the intensity of the light scattered by a colloidal suspension were due to Brownian motion of the particles. PCS has become a powerful technique for studying the properties of suspension and solution of colloids, macromolecules and polymers. This technique is widely used to determine the distribution prole of the sizes of small particles in suspension. In this contribution, experimental results of PCS measurements on two dierent kinds of latex beads are reported. Latex beads are monodispersed polymeric particles and have been diluted in an aqueous medium. They represent a standard calibration system used in several elds due to their size accurately known.

Abstract
They represent a standard calibration system used in several elds due to their size accurately known.Pubblicazioni consigliate
