The Environmental Human Health Risk Analysis technique is used to define the level of risk of a contaminated site. By means of risk analysis, hazards for human health and the ecosystem are assessed and an appropriate risk management can be planned. The major difficulties in conducting such analyses could be associated with the presence of numerous sources of pollution and transport routes and also to the unavailability of simple tools to display and manage the results, in particular if several sources of pollutants are present (complex areas). In this work the implementation of a simplified approach for the risk analysis on a Geographical Information System is presented, it helps analysts in overcoming the previous mentioned lacks. Furthermore to verify the potentiality of such GIS-based tool, an application of the Environmental Human Health Risk Analysis to a complex industrial site is given.
