The study is based on empirical research conducted on a sample of European companies that in the recent years have published an Integrated Report under the IIRC Framework, with the aim to provide a contribution to understanding the relation between the publication of an Integrated Report (IR) and the value relevance of summary accounting information. The results of the analysis show a significantly different degree of value relevance of traditional accounting information (Book Value and Earnings) for companies that publish an Integrated Report, compared to companies adopting traditional financial reporting, so the adoption of an IR approach seems to enhance the quality of accounting information.

Abstract
The study is based on empirical research conducted on a sample of European companies that in the recent years have published an Integrated Report under the IIRC Framework, with the aim to provide a contribution to understanding the relation between the publication of an Integrated Report (IR) and the value relevance of summary accounting information. The results of the analysis show a significantly different degree of value relevance of traditional accounting information (Book Value and Earnings) for companies that publish an Integrated Report, compared to companies adopting traditional financial reporting, so the adoption of an IR approach seems to enhance the quality of accounting information.Pubblicazioni consigliate
