In Open Innovation literature value co-creation is linked only to interactive coupled processes. Open Innovation Intermediaries (OIIs) are defined as third parties which could support OI processes. Nonetheless, few study has yet examined the potential contribution of OIIs to value co-creation processes. Focusing on these assumptions, the paper aims to answer two research questions: how do the different kinds of OIIs support firms in value co-creation processes? which is the potential contribution of OIIs to value co-creation? The paper attempts to build a theoretical framework and to test it using a qualitative explorative analysis based on a case study. The findings could help: i) to better understand the potential contribution of OIIs to co-creation in each stage of OI coupled processes; ii) to support firms in choosing the most suited OII at each stage of coupled process.

Abstract
The findings could help: i) to better understand the potential contribution of OIIs to co-creation in each stage of OI coupled processes; ii) to support firms in choosing the most suited OII at each stage of coupled process.Pubblicazioni consigliate
