The present work deals with the characterization of an innovative sorbent composite LiCl/MWCNT/PVA, based on LiCl supported on multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWCNT), and shaped with PolyVinilAlkohol (PVA) as a binder, specifically developed for sorption thermal energy storage (TES) applications. The phase composition of the composite and its transformation during the ad/desorption cycles are studied. Particularly, the synthesized samples were investigated in terms of sorption capacity and characterized by temperature programmed X-ray diffraction analysis and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) operating under controlled humidity and temperature conditions.
