Abstract
In line with ongoing studies on window-frame innovation, we intend to address the topic of their replacement and disposal, undervalued even if, in the building renovation projects, regards a continually expanding market. Analysing the problems related to the interventions of energy efficiency improvement we will investigate not so much the energy recoveries derived from the replacement of the windows in management phase but more exactly the opportunities offered by a choice that covers all phases, from production to installation and to end-of-life, considering as a complementary priority the analysis of the processes of "zeroing" of resources, energy, waste, from cradle to cradle. More than a repertoire of technical solutions, in the face of some open issues on recycling and durability, assemblages and correlations reversible, embedded energy and CO2 emissions, the most promising trends in the current productive context will be screened.Pubblicazioni consigliate
