Exemplarity emerges in this special issue through its multiple forms and in its various fields of relevance and manifestation: moral, political and theoretical philosophy, legal theory, law and literature, philosophy of art, and philosophy of language. Our aim is to explore how exemplarity cuts across entrenched binaries: universal and particular, abstract and concrete, ideal and real, societal and individual. Most importantly, the contributions collected in this issue challenge these divides from different perspectives and invite a reflection on normativity from the perspective of particulars.

Abstract
Exemplarity emerges in this special issue through its multiple forms and in its various fields of relevance and manifestation: moral, political and theoretical philosophy, legal theory, law and literature, philosophy of art, and philosophy of language. Our aim is to explore how exemplarity cuts across entrenched binaries: universal and particular, abstract and concrete, ideal and real, societal and individual. Most importantly, the contributions collected in this issue challenge these divides from different perspectives and invite a reflection on normativity from the perspective of particulars.File in questo prodotto:
