Abstract
Nowadays, the processes transforming a City into a Smart City are not unified, standardized, or regulated. Moreover, these approaches and technologies used are, in most of the cases closed and not ready to cooperate with others pre-existent or newly made Smart Cities. The Too(l)Smart project aims to propose its template as a plug-and-play system that makes Smart a City. This way, the cities also have a common infrastructure that enables them to interact each-others easily. To do this, a structure has been defined based on Internet of Things (IoT) devices and Cloud-based systems; components running in the cloud are meant to manage the devices and publish the data they generate. The data are published in an Open-Data format, so itis easily visualized and processed through automatic procedures and maybe in the future easily aggregated at a higher layer to obtain cumulative data that represent characteristics of a region or a wider areaPubblicazioni consigliate
