This paper aims to study some manuscripts of the Gynaecia by Mustio, akin to the older ms. Hauniensis 1653, s.XI, in order to clarify both their stemmatic relationship and their role in the constitutio textus. Before the analysis of the manuscript tradition an overview of the Latin tradition of Soranus is given.
