This book deals with the topic of tourism and explores which conditions, policies, and actions should be promoted by various stakeholders to allow people with disabilities to fully enjoy a tourism experience. Despite the fact that it has been one of the industries that has suffered the most (and is still suffering) the negative effects of the worldwide economic downturn due to the Covid-19 pandemic, available economic data demonstrate that tourism is an area characterized by significant growth potential and might represent an important economic engine for many countries in the years to come. Moreover, tourism also presents a relevant social value as it expresses a primary need for exchange, socialization, culture, and leisure.

Abstract
This book deals with the topic of tourism and explores which conditions, policies, and actions should be promoted by various stakeholders to allow people with disabilities to fully enjoy a tourism experience. Despite the fact that it has been one of the industries that has suffered the most (and is still suffering) the negative effects of the worldwide economic downturn due to the Covid-19 pandemic, available economic data demonstrate that tourism is an area characterized by significant growth potential and might represent an important economic engine for many countries in the years to come. Moreover, tourism also presents a relevant social value as it expresses a primary need for exchange, socialization, culture, and leisure.Pubblicazioni consigliate
