The purpose of this symposium is to develop emerging insights on new dimensions and strategies relevant for SMEs to handle more effectively the digital transformation in the light of recent advancement is technology, with a special emphasis on the role of capabilities, ecosystem and business model. In this symposium we bring together a group of distinguished scholars, providing a common ground for discussing their most recent work on these topics, with the aim of setting up an updated and comprehensive research agenda.
