A sample of fresh horticultural plants is considered and their content of crude fibre, having benefits for human health, is analyzed as a sample variable, on the basis of some data obtained in literature. Frequency distribution, average, variance and standard deviation of crude fibre content of the considered plants are computed and some diagrams about the conducted statistical study are given. The carried out quantitative results are more detailed and deepened with respect to those ones obtained in a previous paper, where a classification in ordered classes of content was taken into consideration. It is seen that it is necessary to consume fruits and vegetables, following the recommendations of international and national organizations for nutrition, to satisfy the daily needs of a person to prevent several diseases and to have benefit effects on the health.
