In this work is reported the synthesis of Ag2O loaded Co3O4 nanocomposites using a simple chemical process and their gas sensing properties toward hydrogen. XRD and SEM-EDX characterization techniques were employed to investigate the influence of Ag2O on the structural and morphological characteristics of the Ag2O-Co3O4 composite nanoparticles synthesized. Gas sensing tests demonstrated that the Ag2O-Co3O4 composite has better hydrogen sensing performance at mild temperature (125°C) than pure Co3O4.
