In this work, we propose a design of a versatile calibration setup for BTTMS based on motion-decomposition. A new test bench based on kinematic inversion will be used for determining metrological properties of BTTMS. The motion-decomposition is achieved by using rigid rotating blades (mounted on a high- speed and low-irregularity-rotation-degree motor) and applying a know vibration profile to the BTT sensor. This approach enables investigation of different sensors in a wide range of operating conditions. The development of this test bench will provide a scientific base for future definition of international standards and techniques for calibration of BTTMS.

Abstract
In this work, we propose a design of a versatile calibration setup for BTTMS based on motion-decomposition. A new test bench based on kinematic inversion will be used for determining metrological properties of BTTMS. The motion-decomposition is achieved by using rigid rotating blades (mounted on a high- speed and low-irregularity-rotation-degree motor) and applying a know vibration profile to the BTT sensor. This approach enables investigation of different sensors in a wide range of operating conditions. The development of this test bench will provide a scientific base for future definition of international standards and techniques for calibration of BTTMS.Pubblicazioni consigliate
