Abstract
History analyses highlight how cities are a perennial experimentation in building different forms of space. Numerous redevelopment programmes have been carried out in towns that were subjected to catastrophic wars and seismic events. In some cases, the restorations were conducted inside the limits of the urban fabric, while in other places they designed new building additions on the outskirts. Other urban programmes instead delineated the drawing of new cities, as in Bèlice, creating new territorial landscapes. This paper will try to examine some renovation processes that have been performed in the urban fabric of Milazzo in the past century, which deeply have modified the contest for the new spatial forms; but on the other hand, they continue to maintain alive, in spite of the restoration contradictories, the historical center inheritance.Pubblicazioni consigliate
