In this paper, we explore how the notion of a ‘society of care’ is the major source of inspiration among young people for a new political utopia. Based on approximately 10 years of research into the Italian case - although we present a few specific cases - we analyse how young activists position themselves between individual and collective action, using heterogeneous forms of local collective action. We explore this through the notion of the ‘fragmented generation’.

Abstract
In this paper, we explore how the notion of a ‘society of care’ is the major source of inspiration among young people for a new political utopia. Based on approximately 10 years of research into the Italian case - although we present a few specific cases - we analyse how young activists position themselves between individual and collective action, using heterogeneous forms of local collective action. We explore this through the notion of the ‘fragmented generation’.File in questo prodotto:
